We do all our customizing in-house including etching, engraving, embossing, embroidery, sandblasting, laser, screening, and printing. That’s why our orders come out right the first time. We hate to tell you how often people bring us orders that were done incorrectly by other companies. As one of our recent customers told us: We’re never using anyone else again!
Alpine To The Rescue - Because we truly are people who care, we are happy to "save the day" even if it means a last minute rush or correcting others' mistakes. Here are a few stories we like to share:
- One of our favorite “rescue” stories was when the
Denver Board of REALTORS® got 500 plaques from an out of town engraver who misspelled the word “Colorado
- Kroenke Sports and Players Bench came to us with a $5000 acrylic Avalanche award that had been engraved incorrectly. The manufacturer said they couldn’t fix it. This was for the MVP Three-Star award that was to be presented at a high-profile event. They’d called everyone in town, and no one could help. When they called us, we said, bring it in; we’ll see what we can do. We studied it from every angle and decided that we could buff out the original engraving and re-engrave it. We did that and had it back to them the next day. No wonder we have such loyal and grateful and happy clients!
Not every “rescue” is of that magnitude. One of our best stories is the little 8-year-old boy who came in with his broken soccer trophy asking if we could fix it. Clearly this little trophy meant the world to him and he was heartbroken that it was ruined. It wasn’t even a brand we carried, but we “fixed” it. Actually, we made him a brand new one in the back right then and there, and re-engraved it. When we brought it out to him as good as new, the smile on his face was all the reward we needed. No charge we told him, and he walked out clutching that little trophy and grinning from ear to ear.
